Supporting our On Business Members
At this uncertain time, we'd like you to know that your company's loyalty to British Airways is appreciated and never taken for granted. With that in mind, we've taken some important steps to support you and give you confidence during this difficult period.
Tier status and threshold reduction
We're pleased to let you know your On Business tier status will be protected again this year. That means, if you do not spend the amount needed by the end of 2021 to remain in your current tier, you can be assured that your current tier status will be maintained until the end of 2022.
As usual, you will continue to move up to the next tier if you and your company have reached the required spending thresholds on company travel by the end of 2022. A reminder of the spend thresholds for each tier can be found here.
Your On Business Points
We want to make sure that you still have the opportunity to spend your On Business Points on redemption flights or cabin upgrades, so we're extending the expiry date of any On Business Points due to expire in 2021. These will now expire on 31 December 2022.
All of the changes outlined above will happen automatically, so you won't need to do anything.
Executive Club Tier Flexibility Policy
We have also taken steps to protect the tier status and well-earned benefits of our Executive Club Members. Find out more here.
More information can be found on ba.com/covid-19 including the latest FAQs and travel updates.
Thank you again for your support. We look forward to welcoming you, and your colleagues, on board your next flight with us.
